For the weeks prior to the meet, my mind was occupied with ideas on how I’d rebuild Rusty for Born Free 6. I already had in mind a specific look that I was going for but didn’t make any final decisions until after the swap meet.
Similar to the last event, I left SJ early and arrived at the meet just in time before the parking lot filled up.
From a quick glance, the meet definitely had more vendors than last time. I figured it was because of warmer weather. For this meet, I prepared myself just enough money to buy what I need only.
After about two hours of browsing and carefully searching for parts, I came home a happy camper. Found some parts that I can tweak and add to Rusty.
You meet the friendliest people at cycle swap meets. One of many reasons why I keep coming back aside from parts
Fancy looking bike
Unlike the last meet which was mostly dominated by Ironheads, this meet had more Shovels than Home Depot
Such a sweet looking scoot
LNSPLT approved!
I’d love to see the owner bust a U turn on this bike
Next to it was this immaculate Knuckle. My all time favorite motor
Interesting bars on this Rat
This ironhead was one of my favs
So was this one
This bike had me feeling some type of way
Hands down my favorite bike at the meet
I knew it…chicks only dig crotch rockets
