Yee did a great job recapping our ride, so I’ll just leave it here:

“I’d have to say that this was one of the best rides I’ve been on by far and the route was amazing. Caught myself screaming, “this is awesome!!!” out loud in my helmet.

Dan broke down on the first stretch in front of a long dirt driveway that happened to belong to that old white guy in the pictures. Lonnie Swanson, proud owner of not 1, not 2, but 3 pan heads in his lifetime. He was quite a character. He has a love/hate relationship for our bobbers and really got on one when he saw Son’s suicide shifter.

I broke down a few times and tore apart the fuse box and starter button only to find out it was a loose connector.

We got to eat at the famous “Alice’s Restaurant” per the recommendation from our “not racist” buddy Lonnie. Haha

Duck popped his cherry when we smashed down 280 on the way home.

All in all it was an awesome ride and we definitely have to do this route again with the rest of the boys.

Till next time on “I didn’t choose the bobber life. The bobber life chose me.””

Memorial quotes from our buddy Lonnie

“Orientals and their Jap craps!”

“If you want a real motorcycle, get a fucken Harley!”

“I like this guy, he rides a suicide!”

“You guys are killing me!”

With Born Free 5 only a few days away, the guys at San Jose Bobbers are busy prepping their bikes for the trip.

Paul’s bike was slipping big time so he opted for a new clutch. His velocity stack also came in from TJ Brutal Customs.
